finally got round to photographing my Berlin 45 dio over Christmas....... about 5 ft x 4ft.

Hi Andrew,

Awesome dio you have there. Lots of pieces that you've done a very nice placing. Buildings and debris make a most impressive scene. I like K&C's Red Army figures. They have really good faces.

Great work depicting the final days/hours in Berlin April 1945. The whole layout is well done and as others have said, confusion reigns. Nice use of all the buildings. The overview photo tells it all. Huge amount of time and expense involved, but worth it.:salute::, Robin.

You are spot on Robin, this was a labour of love involving much time and treasure........its taken 18 months to shape up
as I have gradually picked up some pieces in the UK and some in the US, plus numerous hops over to Hk. By the time I get it all back to Manila along my extended supply chain (my Hong Kong office or my brothers spare bedroom in the UK) it stretches for months. On the upside.......it stopped me buying too much else during 2016.

my Mrs has put up with this growing in one of the downstairs living rooms for 18 months also, so I now feel obligated to clear away back to the mancave lest divorce papers appear in early 2017...... she has been a champion putting up with me......

have added a few more pics, including a couple of panoramics with the font buildings removed.
