Thanks Paul.👍🏻

To give anyone, who fancies doing something similar, here's what I was using.
It's the little things that help make it, the rubble, the posters and the graffiti.

The rubble of miniature bricks and timber were from Ebay, you can find it in the 1.35th scale and as uou see works well enoughgor 1.30th., spread over a JG miniatures street mat, helps with clear it all away when finished !😉
The posters were downloads of real ones and resized and printed of course from the Internet.
The round advertising tower was, just a piece of cardboard tubing I cut to approximate size to look the part, though that could of been better if the diameter had been a few millimeters larger. Cone shape was done by cutting a round piece of cardboard and cutting a line from edge to centre and using that to make cone, and covering it with some tape.
The graffiti was copied from photos of the time, and freehand painted onto Tamiya brick walls I had glued together and painted.
Hope that helps anyone thinking of doing something like it.
On the B&W ones, I just used a suitable pic, found on Internet for background.

Thanks Paul.👍🏻

Thanks Steve 👍 very informative. Very ingenious, I'm sure people will attempt to do something like what you have accomplished. All the best Paul

Thanks for the information, Steve! I will pass it along to my son, who has taken over diorama building duties since my eyesight started to fade.

Thanks Paul and Louis.
Yes Louis, things start hoing wrong as we get older unfortunately.

I should of mentioned of course, for anyone making a permanent display, one can make sections of rubble and blend it in with rest of diorama, simply by using plaster of paris or filler which can be coloured to the shade you want with hobby paint, or of gourse painted, to press bricks, dust etc into, which is more readily available from DIY / hardware stores, best to use a base of hardboard/ mdf or similar if intending to be able to move about as could be heavy if covering large areas.
