I glued my Conte figures' arms and weapons etc. in with Loctite Superglue, but it never seems to make a permanent bond. I'm always having to re-glue things. Is there a better, more long-term glue for these figures? Also, will the same glue work on Ex Force figures, as I am planning on buying some in the near future.

Thanks for your help!

I have had good results with "Gorilla Super Glue" and "Krazy Glue" (Super Glue - Not the "Craft")...some 'Super Glues' I have tried do not work on Conte figures.

Others on the forum have recommended a Super Glue "accelerator" or "activator".

Good Luck.

I use Loctite "gel" and Tricky Stick glue enhancer by Roket (look this up and give it a read). You can find it on Amazon - bit pricy but good

Strongest joints are made with the "pin and glue" method. You can't butt-join toy soldiers' plastic and expect them to stay glued for long. Styrene model cements work by actually dissolving a bit of the plastic, but solvents don't work with the plastics used in "toy" soldiers. It helps to stabilize the joint with a bit of wire. The wire spans the gap adding a lot more strength, then the glue holds the parts together. Takes extra effort but it really adds strength.
