There seems to be two main levels of Matte Medieval figures being made right now:

The St. Petersburg / Grenada Museum Level figures which run about $500 for a mounted unit.

and then the King and Country Level tier which has roughly $50-70 for foot and $150-200 mounted. This seems to be made up of:

King & Country: focusing on the crusades.

First Legion: with their agincourt line

Eagle Studios (a lower priced Grenada Studios Spinoff): Which has the battle of Grunwald and some agincourt figures.

I'd love to discuss:
A.) Am I missing any big ones?
B.) What do you fellow collectors think is the best quality figures at this price point between the options?

The Collector's Showcase has a line of Agincourt figures at very reasonable prices. I just don't know if they intend to expand this series.

FL has both a Crusade line and a medieval line that contains Agincourt.

For the high end figures,

In order of quality :

Russian Vityaz > Nevskaya miniatura = Sineus > Aeroart the st petersburg collection (old better than new ones with russian vityaz figures in the lead position and grenada in the last position).

Sincerely, I find that current aeroart figures are not really worth the current prices.

Now it depends what you re after.

Cheers

Alex

Aside from the really high end figures, First Legion hands down.

It's hard to say w/ so many stylistic differences between manufacturer's along w/ significant price differences between them all as well. I'm going to exclude the high end Russian miniatures from my answer. Which leaves Collectors Showcase, K & C, Conte, First Legion, and Frontline. I would say FL is the best quality & value.
