Better to combine sets or separate collections? (2 Viewers)

Hi, Looking for advice - I have Ducal mounted soldiers sets from the same regiment - eg life guards but are marked MB5001A and MB5001B, they are in 2 separate boxes of 8.

MB5001A= Saxophone, clarinet, trumpet/cornet,trombone, flute, tuba,euphonium and a soldier on a decorative saddle with a baton
MB5001B = Saxophone, clarinet,trumpet/cornet,trombone, flute,tuba,euphonium and a soldier on a decorative saddle (the leader of the band? - no instruments)

Would be grateful for opinions on whether it would be of more interest to buyers to be 2 separate sales as there are duplicates or if it is an actual set and buyers would rather have the full 16 in one go.

If I were selling these on eBay, as these are two separate sets, I would list them separately.

Jazzeum is correct.

Although, I have only sold a few items on eBay I have found that by combining sets, you some times lose potential buyers.

In some cases the combined price may be beyond the "wallet" of a buyer.
In other cases, a buyer may want certain figures and not others and might pass on getting duplicates they don't want.
Also, if a buyer does want multiple sets they can contact you with an offer for both.

I will tell you they go together as a set when you display them but were sold and listed as individual sets to help keep the cost of building the band reasonable for collectors. So listing them as separate sets is a better way to sell them.

Many thanks for the advice, I will list as separate sets over several weeks (it takes me a while to photograph them)
