They are fiddly but, its all down to gently moving the bike and figure into the right place. Don't think there is a secret but, you just have to play around until they fit. I have not had much difficulty in the ones you mention just placed the figure on the bike at an angle and slid him down the middle bar of the bike. it was the one turned side on that was a little humour tester.
