Big Screen TVs and the internet. (1 Viewer)

We splurged and got a big screen TV recently. This morning I finally got around to hooking up a laptop to it and I was blown away. I went to my playsetaddict site and in some ways it was like seeing the pictures for the first time. They were huge and clear! When I got the TV I was hoping it would be really cool way to look at photos, but I had no idea the internet could look like that. Has anyone else gone surfing using a big screen TV?

I went in the opposite direction. I got an iPad. I have to say it is an amazing piece of technology. I believe the tablet will eventually replace the laptop. Since I got it I have hardly used my laptop at all. It comes on instantly, and the battery lasts 10 plus hours. I added an Apple TV module which allows you to stream movies and music to your TV. I am using it to post this comment. The only problem I have with it is no Flash support, but most web developers are switching to HTML 5 so it won't really matter much in the future.

the new tablets are high on my list of items for 2011 they look brilliant. I use the 42 inch in my den for the web and x-box games and things like being on here I could not imagine now being on a lap top screen on the internet.
