Just saw this 1967 movie starring Michael Caine in a spy thriller. Not a great movie, it was directed by Ken Russell so there are some nice visuals despite the goofy plot and sets. I could barely stay awake.

2.5/5 in my opinion.

Have you seen any of the other Harry Palmer movies, Ipcress File or Funeral in Berlin. I particularly like Funeral in Berlin. The books by Len Deighton are very good.

I thought they were great films. Deighton was a superb writer. SS/GB still remains one of my favourite books

I really like Michael Caine in Funeral in Berlin (5/5) and the Ipcress File (4/5) in my opinion. He is the epitome of the cold war spy. I am currently going thru this "old movies phase" and am running through the movies based on Alastair Maclean's writings.
