Hi Guys,

Re a couple of points…

1. “Commonwealth Figures Don’t Sell…”

Actually they do rather well… I’m very pleased with our 8th. Army Aussies… New Zealanders… and Indians. Generally we’ve seen an upsurge in interest in non German… non American figures i.e. British in particular… Fields of Battle continues to be popular and we did very well with the Canadian Staghound and the British Churchill.

As for the future… I can promise you British and Commonwealth fans there is a wealth of goodies in the proverbial pipeline… but please remember we have a schedule that’s worked out many months in advance. Patience is one of the great virtues as someone, not me, once said.

2. “K&C Vehicles seems to be etc., etc.”

Well, my friend, if it’s not one thing it’s the other as my dear old Mum would say…

I read John’s post very carefully and noted down all his points and then filed it in the usual place.

I will, of course, look into the “HEAVIERNESS” of all our existing and future releases… fear not!

3. K&C Buildings

We’re at work on this as I write… some very interesting ideas… more later in the fullness of time.

Until then… adios for now… hiyo Silver and away!

Andy C.

Thanks Andy, excellant news on the Brit and commonwealth troops. After many years of people mainly wanting German stuff there does seem to be an 'Allied' shift in the air.I also think the K&C 8th Army/FOB and British D Day figures are some of the best K&C make. Will look forward to them,Cheers

Rob

Thanks for the info Andy.
I,ve been searching high and low into the dictionary in an attempt to find what "heavierness" means, but with your post it has become clear.

Definitely a hopeful response from Andy. It truly is amazing what just sitting a structure or two in a cabinet with the soldiers can do, if only just background!!

Andy thats all great news, i just wanted to add that a puma or opel radio truck would look great in and around the hedgerows of caen to face the commonwealth troops

I too would love to see John's collections. I understand they go back to when Andy was a lance corporal and the breadth and depth is outstanding.......................

I just want to say that I admire the way you stick to your guns. You buy the stuff so if you want to comment or complain you go ahead. A lot of your suggestions have eventually materialized. So you keep on keeping on.

Good to hear about possible buildings in the pipleline.
In another thread comments were made about the Normandy Village. I actually prefer that lighter material to the recent more heavier building items.
The large Berlin ruin was a killer in terms of Fedex charges to Australia and each cost A$50 alone in shipping when the item sold for A$149.
The Normany Village looked great and was light in weight. Would love to see
some more like them.
I may be wrong but I thought there was a suggestion that the building with the balcony in the WWI flyer might be in the pipeline. Anything that can double up in different eras such as the French Farm House would be great.
Bring on the buildings.
Regards Brett
