While I was trying my new set up (lighting) that I just bought, I decided to post a 54mm figure from Andrea that I painted last Fall, October 2010.

Well done Rod. I particularly like all the reds and the leathers. Really nicely finished. Andrea make a lot of great looking pirates with pretty regular additions to the range in recent months. I always enjoy seeing your finished work on here.

Gebhard my friend, you are too much gentile, but I appreciated very much your compliments, talk you later this week....I haven’t posted before, I was waiting to create a mini-studio, more appropriated to small soldiers and after struggle many times with lighting, finally I start to learn how to manipulate spotlights....

MD, thanks...Yes they have released a few very nice Pirates lately, I have a couple of them and maybe will get some..If everything will be according to my plans, I will try to create some kind of diorama with these pirates, maybe this spring or summer, start to miss some dioramas buildings.

That is one heck of a paint job Rod! I particularly like the worn leather belts, the dramatic shadowing on the jacket, the delicately detailed tan soil on the white knickers between the light blue pinstripes, and the facial features....and the purple socks too! You have quite a talent there. Thanks for sharing once again.
