Hullo There,

During this past weekend I finished all of the “building works” and began “blacking-up” the entire structure prior to painting and dry-brushing.

As you can see I’ve still got a wee bit of “tiling” still to complete on the roof of the tower…however that will be finished later today.

The purpose of “blacking-up” is to get dark shadows into every nook and cranny before the real painting and weathering begins.

I reckon on at least 2 days for the “P & W”. So, here’s the latest progress and many thanks for the many kind and complimentary comments so far.

Very well done and a great tip as well, :salute:: I'm going to have a go at something similar but smaller, if I can get just close to what you have done Gordon I'll be happy.:wink2:

I am happy to confirm that the finished “Fortified Manor House” will be on show in Chicago as part of a major diorama!
