Harold Your Gallery is fantastic keep adding pics please :).
I like them all from Ancients to WW2 I am still amazed at what you have done.
with your 25/28mm stuff the amount of work you have done there someone
should give you a gold medal :D.
just a side note did you cut the bases for your Minatures or did you buy them?.
they look good with a few on each stand (easy to move around and store)
Cheers
Rob,

What do I think?.......I think that I should buy the next available airline ticket and come and see these for myself! Toy Soldier Heaven indeed :)

Jealous Jeff!

Well if i ever get to the states i plan on dropping the wife and kids off at Disneyland.
and then hopping the next plain to Blackcat Heaven :D

Rob, I used to Millwright at one of Portlands grain elevators and would cut steel bases with a hydraulic shear there at the shop. But since I have retired from the waterfront, I just buy precut steel bases. Not much cheaper buying the material and cutting them by hand anyway.
I jumped back and forth for 4-5 years between dark ages and Ancients.A little here and there and over time it really adds up.
Thanks for the kind words. Have more gallery pix to add and hopefully I'll get something out on the table for new images.

yea im doing the same thing with bases (take advantage of work).
it only takes 5mins and bang 600 20mm sq bases..that should keep me going.
after seing your picks could not help myself had to pick up a swag of Foundry.
Romans/Celts and at half price could not resist :D

Harold i like the War in Spain pics lots of painted plastics and a few converted ones i see.
Great use of the Adobe Buildings (must finnish painting all Mine).
You should get some Spannish troops in there.
Once again thanks for sharing your work.
Cheers,

Fubar,
I just looked at your website and I've said it before but you are a great painter,as good as any figure painters work I've seen,no matter what size.

Friends, I just noticed that the Spartan page on blackcat has been loaded.Wasnt there for a long time, i guess my friend had some spare time and uploaded them. LOTS of plastic Spartans.I had just completed another 30 or so that didnt make it into the pix. Too bad. I did a couple specialty guys bristling with arrows stuck in their legs, shoulders . Hope you like the pix.

Also, one of my many nephews was here with all my wifes side of the family for Easter Sunday. Had his laptop with him. I asked him to make a toy soldier video for me.
I just showed him the gallery, told him I like Rush 2112 overture, and then Iwas off busy with a housefull of people. He came back to me less than 40 minutes later as I was working in the kitchen and said he was done.
He posted it on youtube, later on, took me a while to find it. Kinda fun, pretty good for a 13 year old kid! I havent a clue .Gave the man a twenty and said " you're hired.
search blackcatminiatures on youtube.I duuno how to post a link. I'll have to have my tutor show me .

Splendid Fub,

Harold i like the cat looking into the camera :D.....whats the scoop on the ACW figs.
Did you sculp them? they look mighty fine
Rob,

RoBRagnar,
I'm still working on them, there's a bunch and even more in various stages, near completion . No, I didn't sculpt them. I just make the multi figure molds and do all the spincasting.I'll have them posted on the site as soon as all the first wave are cast, cataloged, painted and photographed. It's taking me a little longer , theres so much variety, potential, things to do.My Nephew Brandon is going to help take the load off by doing all the imaging, web stuf.Things the old cave man can't seem to find the patience to do.MY STYLE OF TECH SUPPORT IS A CUTTING TORCH AND SLEDGE HAMMER.About all I can manage.I'll just concentrate on the figures.
Here's a few teasers.IMG_1250.JPG
