Perhaps a moderator can build in a survey.....?

So some of our collection have come in Blister packages.
1. some of the Blsiter packageing must be ripped/slices and torn open.Delprado FOV Etc.
2. Britains comes with Clam shell (seems to be a well thought out idea)

Do we keep the Carcasses of this wrapping system or do we discard as what it is-garbage. now I know some folks display their collections in the Blister packaging/boxes for fear of diminishing the pieces value at a later time. My personal opinioion is to get them out the packages if you are going to display them.

I also note that the high end manufacturers just put them in nice foam lined boxes. surely this adds to the cost...
in the end- Blister packages-keep or toss!

I keep all my boxes...everyone of them...my Del Prados in the blister packs...I threw them away...

Out of the packaging the must come. (Anything less is just hoarding IMO) I do save the clam shell packaging though.

Anything I rip open I throw away but the boxes and clamshells I keep.

I use a very sharp small knive to cut just under the Plastic Wrap on 3 sides only, then lift the Wrap up carefully and take out the Figure, and then keep the Package. I am just about to move to a new house, and have repacked all my stuff, and it went very well, to put all back in the Original package. My stuff are mainly:
21st Century
FOV
Britains Deetail
Dinky
Airfix
ect.

I keep the clam shells, and the boxes...but if it has to cut/sliced It gets tossed. I have even kept my ORYON boxes which is a mix of both. What I do do though is keept the little tag on a string, and I definetly keep the Delprado books.
My wife freaked out when she saw the boxes....she thought I had hidden more soldiers....alslo whne she saw the figures and the boxes in the same room she tipped as well.....the fact that she hides purses....well i am saving that for when I really need too!!
