Well, after I took the photo, the bloody head came off and I can locate it at all!!! So I did what every intrepid toy soldier maker does - I used the other Robespierre fig and made a couple of moulds from the head.
Then I made resin castings. Due to lack of practice and the non- help from Vulcan, the forger, I had to make several rounds of castings just to get an acceptable head.
Meanwhile I had covered up the mannequin with a modest tudor-like putty dress and I then plonked the cast head down onto the figure.
