i have a book that will be of interest to Normandy campaign collectors and readers. it is called "Breakout at Normandy: The 2nd Armored Division in the Land of the Dead". it is written by Mark Bando and published by MBI (motor books international) in 1999. it is in softcover format and is 160 pgs. and illustrated. there are first hand accounts of the vicious fighting involving the U.S. 2nd Armored and the German 2nd SS Panzerdivision. if (and a big if at that) you can find one at a decent price, you won't be disappointed. otherwise borrow one at a library or from a friend. it is a good read. best regards, lancer
