FYI on ebay today, this limited run of 200 figure went for about $250 US. WOW, my bid got blown away. Somebody out there is more nuts than me on collecting limited run figures~!

Hi Ericka,

Here is the ebay number 330179934064 it was a Vectis Auction I was watching and I sent it to Mark Avery Last week at the Britians collectors club. There were some really amazing sets on the block and they realized some stunning results. Check out the finished auctions. I was sure surprised by the 120 GBP for this Redcoat figure from the December 06 London Event.

All the best

Dave

PS here is the item description from Vectis: Britains Limited Edition Figure - History of the British Army - Redcoats Classic Collection, comprising: Figure No. 41190 - Private, British 1st Foot Guards, 1805. This figure was only issued to those attending the "W. Britain Salute to the British Army Event" held at the National Army Museum on 2nd December 2005. The figure is complete with a Limited Edition Certificate - No' 94 of 200. Mint, contained in a Mint set box & outer shipping carton. Scarce

Agreed,
I can't believe this figure went for that much as I have been able to get most of these limited runs at reasonable prices, yet this one surprised me.

I was also suprised at the Farm sets, someone must have really wanted these as I have purchased a few for $10!

Again, ebay makes anything possible and auctions in general. As I said before, there was a bidder crazier than me.

Well, this years evening event at the Guards Museum in London is already sold out. The special event figure this year is another 'Redcoat' This is also limited to 200 figures and is a Foot Guards drummer in full dress ca. 1815. This will be a great figure for those that bought the three piece Collector's Club set 'Ready for Duty' that is now sold out.

Hi Guys:

Just wanted to clarify that there will be 300 of the event figure and the event is indeed sold out.

Richard
