Does anyone have some of each figure that they'd be willing to photograph side by side? ONWT was some nice union army "at rest" figures that I am interesting in mixing with Britains, but don't know if they are similar in scale and style.
Thanks!

Style wise they should be ok because Ken Osen was involved with Old Northwest (I believe). Scalewise, it may depend when your Britains were made. If they are recently made, they may not because ON was 1/32 whereas present Britains Civil War is 1/30.

Thanks - The Britains are current, so i guess there might be a scale issue...well, maybe some soldiers were just a bid chunkier then others! {sm4}

The earlier ACW ONTC sets that Ken Osen sculpted when he was a part owner are perfect matches to past and current WB ACW figures and sets. I have the Federal "Loomis' Battery" and the Confederate set with Confederates in the cornfiled at Antietam, I believe it was entitled "Last Full Measure". However, with that said, after Ken left ONTC, the company contiued to produce several more ACW sets sculpted by another artist. These sets depicted Federal Camp life and also sets from the ONTC "Images of War" series. I always felt these sets were just a bit taller/bigger than WB figures. I have Images of War set #IOW-1001 "Forever a Rebel" which depicts quite accurately the 3 Confederate prisoners at Gettysburg from the well known period photograph. Although, exceptionally well done, the figures in this set are slightly larger (taller) and because of this I decided not to collect any more of the post-Ken Osen sets. Please understand that I am pretty picky when it comes to compatibility issues and what I may think to be "too tall" may not be an issue with you, especially when working with a mixture of figures.

Thanks - it's the Federal camp life figures I am toying with buying to go with the similar figures from Britains.
I'll probably just get them, I tend to be pretty lenient on scale, unless it's a ridiculous difference

Good idea. I'd just do it. I don't think you're the kind of person who gets hung up on those things, like me.

I have all of the Federal medical sets from Britains and the sitting letter writer from ONTC. I agree with Mike, as I can see the face looks a little plumper, and he would be taller if standing. However, I never noticed the difference until I just looked. This figure does work quite well, with the sitting pose.
