I was wondering what the forum members thought of the Archvie Series.

I am new to collecting and have enjoyed lurking on this forum.

As others welcomed me with open arms, I do the same! Welcome! Do you collect the Archive series or just interested in what other think? I don't personally, but love their other glossy stuff.

Welcome aboard, I do not collect Britains, however many on the forum do collect Britains. If you have any questions, just ask the forum members they are a great resouce. Have fun posting.

I haven't seen them personally, only in the catalogues and online. They do look nice but don't fit in with what I collect. The new lifeguard club figure maybe one that I will get to add to the collection.

Thanks for the welcome. I don't collect the Archive series, but am interested in them and was curious what others thought of them (did not realize I posted about glossy figures in the matte forum until I read Mike's reply - will post in the glossy forum as well).

Welcome Lance. I hope you enjoy the forum. Collecting is one thing, sharing the fun is another. The forum has made collecting a lot more fun in my case.

I also do not collect the Archvie Series but do collect glossy figures. Cheers.

I collect these WB glossy series: Redcoats, Bluecoats, French & Indian War, and Petticoats. I also am buying the new matte Museum Collection series as well. I have skipped the Archive series since they are too toy like for my taste but they are excellent versions of the 50s originals if you collect that type of figure.

I like the archive series but have yet to collect them. Since I have quite a few old hollow cast Britain's and similar new toy soldiers, the archive series fits right in with my collection.
