Hi,

First post here. I am starting to complete my collection of WWII Deetail. Started about 30 years ago. One of my catalogs shows a Ruined buildings playset. It had a couple building facades, a bunker, trees(?), etc. looks like it was available with or without a formed base. Wondering if anyone has more info on it, rare(?), etc. I did a couple searches and didn't come up with anything.

Thanks,

Seth

There are two sets... battleground 4715 and bombed buildings set 4731 per the 1979 catalogue. The latter having no base. They come up once in a blue moon on ebay for a king's randsom... I think the last price was around $700

Thanks for the info. Yes, those are the sets I am talking about. Looks like I better save my pennies for them.

Thought you might like to see these pictures. This is the battle ground set from the 1980's. I re purchased it fairly recently as my original one was long gone - it is a great set up and after a bit of paint and flocking, intergrates well into any diorama scene.

Thanks for the pics. Looks nice. I like that German officer wearing the overcoat.
