Hi, Mark, this sequence of steps might work

1. Start a reply to this thread
2. Open the email in whatever email application you use
3. Click anywhere in the email and click Ctrl-A (this should select all the visible text)
4. Click Ctrl-C, to copy that text
5. Come back into your new reply here, click in the editor, and click Ctrl-V, to paste the text you copied out of the email
6. Save the reply

There may be details I don't know about, like the browsers involved, etc, but those steps, generally, should work.
