Does anyone know if this series of train replicas was ever made? I found an old catalog leaflet and they looked quite interesting.

Hey Tom,

I remember them and I might actually have one somewhere around here.

They were awful - the pits of Ertl Britains produciton. The base was resin too - just sculpted to look like wood and, man, they were expensive! The print work was done with stickers and poor decals.

No Kidding! Gosh, the catalog surely doesn't look like that!

Anyhow, if you find any, let me know, would be interesting none the less, I think there were 6 of them.

Speaking of odd Britains, for needed items, I am down to 3 tractors (on plinth) and a few later circus pieces in the boxes (i have all, but I am a original box collector).

Part of the fun is finding odd stuff to hunt down.

The tractors were really nice. Kind of like if Charles Biggs were to have done a civilian range. Hand built, white metal - I really liked them.

I remember there being three trains in the range - not six, I could be wrong, though.

If I come across them I'll ping you.

I have to go with Gideon on this.

Don't you wonder what happened to them??? I never see them for sale on ebay, etc. Somebody must like them enough to keep them!
