I understand these new figures were featured in an ad in a toy soldier magazine. Can someone perhaps post a picture?

They look great, hopefully Britains will add some poses that are different from the standard and get away from the firing line ones.

I won't pre order again I used to with every napoleonic release ,still waiting for my Brunswick sapper I ordered Dec 2016.

These figures look fantastic, would be nice to see 36175, 36176 and 36178 offered with dark blue and also white and blue striped pants, the three codes with different variations would look great in a firing line....................excellent sculpts, very well done....................
Options are always welcome. It would also be good to see them in hats along with blue or striped trousers. The Emperor's ultimate reserve rarely fired shots in anger, and unlikely in Grand Tenue. Campaign dress with hats allows a greater choice of battlefields.

They would certainly make a firing line look more realistic, especially for the Armée du Nord at Waterloo with its mix bag of uniforms. I do, however, have a personal preference for the white parade trousers!

Since W. Britains is working on a Waterloo theme, I wonder/hope if Prussians are in the mix as the Old Guard fought at Plancenoit vs the Prussians.

They also had a famous last stand on the battlefield as well vs the British, but Prussians would be great; line infantry, fusiliers, grenadiers, guard infantry, Landwehr would all be welcome additions..................

So when can we expect to see the WB Old Guard released?? I would like to place an order with TF when they are available for purchase.

These figures do look nice. Private Wheeler's account of the battle said that he saw the famous bearskins with their tall red plumes advancing through the smoke, so obviously some units of the Imperial Guard wore full dress tunics. French sources usually depict the Imperial Guard in dark blue campaign trousers and others show white which would have been the summer trousers.
