Does it bother anybody that some to the Britains figures come in a clamshell package rather than a box? It bothers
me, as it seems cheap. Any comments ? Maybe it's just me.
The plastic packaging does appear cheap but I have found it effective so if 'looking cheap' equates to being 'cheaper' I am all for it. I am, however, always amused by the size of the boxes they use. On my first trip to London I stayed in hotel rooms smaller than some of the WB boxes.
Look for the thread, 'The clamshell packs have to go', started in May, 2014, and currently on page 3. 49 posts related to your question/statement. -- Al
if the window box is the next steip up from Clamshell- I am good with it, those are cool- it comes down to retail space sometimes (on issues like this)
I have no problem with them. My figures always come in good shape with no problems. It also might be a cost factor why they ,Britain, use the packaging. Best wishes and happy collecting.
