Haven't painted any Barzso figures for a long time, so I thought I'd give these a go. Billed as "British Firing Line" as part of the French & Indian War range.
Resin type figures, with some in the bag displaying instances of mis-casting, bits missing and little holes. Overall nice figures, only these three poses which I have painted as the 45th foot circa 1755.

Very well painted indeed!I am not familiar with Barzso figures but your painting certainly makes them seem quite detailed. The cut of the uniforms and the fact that the coats are not turned back is,to me, more reminiscent of the 1740s than the Seven Years War.There are contemporary sketches of English soldiers in Scotland during the Jacobite Rebellion looking very much like these men.Again, well done.

Thanks. Whilst doing my usual research and prep prior to painting I did note that most (I did find a few) pictures showed men with coat turnbacks for this period. I am not an expert in this era, so perhaps this could be a slight inaccuracy on behalf of the sculptor.
Thanks again for your comment.

I am new to the hobby and to this fine Model solder discussion group what manufacture should look at for American Civil War figures. I am sorry if I am positing this in the wrong area if so please give me direction

Welcome to the hobby! Well, if you are looking for plastic civil war figures, just go on the General plastic toy soldier discussion and pose your question in a new thread. If metals are what you are looking for, you should see the metal manufacturers at the top of the forum homepage.
If you want to look at a bunch of toy soldiers, try some company websites like michtoy, conteco, classictoysoldiers, toysoldierco, mmtoysoldiers, sdtoysoldiers.com etc. You can filter what era you want to look at on most of these websites. Conte, sdtoysoldiers are good places to start but there are many more makers, especially for Civil War. Good luck!
