What would be the change of some British Battle of the Bulge armour ?
I know the Back Bull 11 armoured were there with Sherman & were in the middle of changing them for Comets ,?
Ps the comments on Monty & this battle please

I loved Monty's speech at Zonhoven though, I think typical Monty (and he believed it would have been better not to have held it) it may have upset the US the famous headed off seen off and written off. I don't know whether XXX shermans at Dinant or Namur would be all that popular in this context.

I suppose if you wanted one representing the units there its easy to change the markings of the released Firefly.

British XXX Corps provided an excellent back stop for the First US Army and some British did engage the German spearhead before the Meuse could be reached. Despite the fact that the Ardennes was pretty much a US Army operation, the British do deserve respect and thanks for their immediate support during the critical first week. Unfortunately, I don't think that British "Bulge" armor would sell well enough for Andy to do a run of them. I think you might want to look at a custom repaint or two. As far as figures - nobody does much of British troops in snowsuits or cold weather gear.

Just think it would be good to see a winter Churchill / Sherman & snow white British paras + would be a good add on to the BOB range

A churchill would be good to see but, please no more shermans there is too many now the only variant that I would be happy now to see would be the firefly Tulip. Thats why I worry about the XXX corps announcement by K&C I dread another bloody Ronson!!! Half tracks, bren carriers etc fine but, the armour is there.

Any British ETO armour are be happy with + I'm still waiting for a Comet tank ,

Comet no problem with or churchills and some variants of these and say the cromwell but, we have everything from classic shermans to bulldozers and in between. I know they were the mainstay of the allied tank force but, I hope for a rest from shermans IMO

The Sherman Firefly can double in Bulge displays - there is a famous photo of (I think a Guards version) a Firefly on guard on the Meuse. What would be nice would be British Infantry of the winter 44/45 period who could be used in Bulge and Reichswald settings - in their distintive leather jerkins which seem a particular feature of British troops in NW Europe 1944-45.

Sorry old boy, but you are pretty much stuck with US supplied M4-variants for much of XXX Corps in Europe in 1944.
