Yes this was quite a news story down here in NZ and a rather sad end to these 12x soldiers who were buried together in a hastily dug grave. Although considered the battle was thought to be a stalemate by historians the British and colonial troops decamped from the scene in great haste expecting to be ambushed or cut off.
