I just order my British Gun Crew and have to say it will be one of my favorites.... I love Artillery especially when it's British. Has any other Napoleonic collectors ordered it yet and what do you think of it.

Cheers

PS....I agree a gun in action would be nice so I plan on putting this set infront of my Farm House practicing manouevers which the British troops tend to there duties in the fort.....:)

Here an idea maybe Andy could make a 3 piece gun crew set with men operating all three guns all in HEAVY action with some caualties. The set would run about $350 or so you would get 3 guns, 12 gun crew all different action poses, and a couple of officers.................................

Any thoughts on this one?
Guess it would be more for the advance collector...although I'd be firt in line to buy it.....ANY THOUGHT ON THE ONE ANDY.

ALSO ANDY ANY THOUGHTS ON AN AMMUNITION OR SUPPLY TRAIN WITH MAYBE A FEW GURDS TAGING ONLONG FOR SUPPORT ON HORSE BACK OR EVEN SOME CATURED ENMY IN RAG TAG CLOTHING BEING LED IN A LINE TO A CAMP. I MAY ALSO HAVE TO ADD IN A MORTOR CREW AND ROCKET CREW.

I think andy should have done like another forum member had suggested and made the cannon and the crew as a sperate purchase.
Then make a bunch of different crew members as add ons and also make a howitzer and maybe a 9lb barrel and a 6lb barrel for the guns and make them so they could be hooked up to a limber which would be a sperate add on piece with crew both seated and standing maybe holding the horses, so you can choose which you would like to buy. And have the horses for the limber sold in sets of 2 so you can add more as you get a little extra cash so the thing dosn,t cost an arm and a leg all at once!!!:p You could also have a set with a dead horse also.

An artillary train driver would also be nice touch also! and some add on figures rolling the cannon back into place and wounded and dead also.

An average british troop had 5 cannons and a howitzer it would be cool to be able to do a full british RHA Troop. Maybe Mercers G troop at waterloo!!!

An artillary piece under attack with half the crew dead and the cannon getting spiked would be really cool also. I could just picture a cuirassier down off his horse spiking the cannon while his buddies cut the crew to pieces!

Frontline has a british RHA rocket crew and a limber set as well. I know your more of a K&C guy but, the frontline stuff grows on you. I wasn,t crazy for them at first, and now I can,t seem to stop buying them.
I,ve got close to 400 now!!! and have my eye on many more. They have the best selection of napoleonics out there as far as different troops to choose from.

WOW...I have to say each set has originality...I only collect K&C you are right but I would collect others if I had lots of cash...because I collect K&C they come first.... always.... when I have extra money.

Cheers

Sure wish K&C would make a rocket crew or a team of horses and artillery. Don't worry Andy NOTHING will ever come close to your Kings German Legion or your Highlanders or your 71st or your...well you know...

Wellington just wondering if you recived you K&C RHA set, is it nice?? Also if you got any of the addition figures what is your opinion on them. I'm thinking of ordering it this weekend, but I just wanted some feed back on them first.

My order is in for next week...I have only looked at the pictures of the RHA and they look excellent...The French figures look ok a couple of them have odd faces and poses but I guess I will have to give them a chance and not judge them too harsh until I see them in person.

The RHA looks excellent and I can't wait to see them displayed in my collection.

Cheers

I got mine today and they look nice but I hope future sets will have a little more imagination and a bit more action to them. The french look nice also, Thanks george!!! Heres a photo of some other RHA you guys might like to check out. I can,t remember what the figures are or where I found them though but they look pretty cool.

Fishead.....From the pictures some of the French infantry's scupting look odd...how do they compare to the RHA?

Cheers

The french look in person the same as they do in the pictures so if you don,t like the pictures I don,t think you,ll like them in person. I like the new french and think they look fine but then again leave it to WELLINGTON to hate the french!:p

HA HA Fishead...too...funny, I received my RHA yesterday and they are as good if not better than I expected...I will get the French anyway, they are all part of my collection, can't have it incomplete.....:)
