Excellent book which clarifies many of the mistakes which have been made in the past. The attached clanger is typical.An Army Order in September 1811 ordered that trumpeter's uniforms would be the same as the troopers. This illustration shows the 1812 jacket complete with bogus musician's lace on the arms. Unfortunately at least two companies have reproduced this figure in their range. Trooper

Yes I noticed that, I've got no idea where the lace came from. The Greys are one of the easiest regiments to find information about!
