British Naval Brigade With Gatling Gun (2 Viewers)

Robin...spoke to John today...he really seemed to enjoy looking at your train diorama with the Gatling guns...it is really impressive...you come up with great ideas and really utilize your figures uniquely...I'm really impressed with the multiples of sets...you are going to have a fantastic collection...if I understood John correctly...we may see some Mahdist around March...I'm sure you and me will both want some multiples of them...

Lets hope they will be in appearance at the March London show

Its great Michael when the maker John takes an interest as well, really gives you a buzz and wants you to try harder. Thanks for the intel on the Mahdist, something to lookforward to. At the moment the Sudan known upcoming releases are the 1st & 2nd sets of the Gordon firing line & the Gordon helping his wounded mate. Other than that its anyones guess. It would be great if we had a new photo again, like the original one with the Gatling gun that was showing all the expected figures to come. Thanks Michael for alerting John to my photos. Cheers, Robin.

Robin...actually John mentioned them to me...I had already seen them...but I think he really enjoyed seeing them displayed in your unique fashion...I'm sure it's a treat for the manufacturer to see what we come up with in displaying his products...I don't think they get enough time to play with them...

I think I identified an un-announced figure about a month ago...I will try to find the picture I posted to show you...

Michael are you thinking about the sitting Gordon with seems to be with a levelled gun? The jury is out on that one, still could be the angle of the photo. Cheers, Robin.

Robin...it's a different figure...I'm sure it is...the angle of the gun is totally different...

As it is on the side with the yet to come unpainted figures I think you are right. Could use some of these as well. Thanks for bringing this forward again, I had forgotten about it, thinking it was an existing figure.Cheers, Robin.

So when do you guys think we will see the wounded Gordon being helped by his mate come out?? The one in the background?

Hi Brent, based on how these have rolled out, basically a set per month, with the Gordon fire set for November, this only leaves the last of the known figures being this wounded set & Michael's mysterious single figure, so my money is on these for December to finish out the year with all shown releases delivered. As I have said before this wounded set maybe needed in multiples to utilise the figure without the gun in other roles around the camp. Cheers, Robin.

These are the prototypes that John had displayed at the London show back in March of this year and it would seem that we are coming to the end of the first wave of British, at this time the Gatling Gun and crew were wax masters in a box! So after Christmas lets hope for the Mahdist opposition.

I really am so pleased that I took the decision to collect this range from JJD…

That is a bustling rail scene Robin. I love how you have taken other items and "modified" them to work in your scene. Very nicely done.

Robin...WOW...6 Gatling guns...that's some serious fire power you got there...nice set up...

Robin,
Very nice display.
If only Colonel Pulleine could have had those six Gatling guns at Ishandhlwana ! Although of course the Quartermaster would have given strict instructions to ration the bullets and insist on single shot firing.
Regards
Brett
