I watched 'I was Monty's double' on the box the other day (top flick by the way) and noticed that Monty's staff car was a u beaut Humber and it got me thinking 'now I would like to have one of them' so may I depart just once from my never ending suggestion of more Great War stuff and add some British staff cars of WW2. I know K&C have given us the EA Churchill and his Generals and the DD Humber which are great (both I have) but wouldn't it be nice to have some more as well.... like these below? If you agree add your two bob's worth....:smile2:
Wayne.

Not a bad idea mate and Andy could make several versions including a WH Normandy, SS or even an AK version that was captured from the Brit's after Dunkirk or during the desert campaigns... :wink2:

I have always wanted a British staff car ....Winston Churchill visiting a RAF air field......

Guys,
I have a passion for The Great War Staff Cars. They always have something original about them. This Obee conversion done for me is one of my favourites. Even though Wayne started this as a British Staff Car thread I feel he would be very happy to see some new WW1 staff cars and trucks especially those trucks to pull his future WW1 artillery.^&grin^&grin
Cheers Howard

Hi Howard,
I hear you when you comment above.......and agree that WW1 Staff Cars, be them British or Central Powers, and other types of mechanised traction would be a great idea. Following the same path as you took with the German Staff car I also enlisted Obee´s great asset to come up with the Middle East Staff Car I posted in this thread along with three different Ford and Chevrolet trucks I have posted on a different thread.......Did not add the trucks here so as to avoid being called threadjacker......:(^&confuse
As to trucks pulling WW1 artillery I have been very keen in researching what would these be and the closest I have found were the Bulldog ( American ) truck....heavily used by the British Army in the Western Front to pull 13/18 pdrs, civilian version sold by First Gear and requires Obee to " dress him up for military use" or the Dennis trucks from Scale Link....here again or you assemble them or Obee needs to be enlisted.....For the heavies the British would used Carterpillar and Holt Tractors or Steam Tractors. While Steam Tractors versions you could get from the old Trophy...at a Premium....the others I would not know how to get...pitty{sm2}
Ohter than these another great source of ready to use trucks could come from Toy Army Workshop and Trophy.....the catch is that both are out of business and any samples found in the market fetch premium prices......:D
Cheers
