Hi guys, I know Matt is gonna do what Matt wants to do, but what's your choice for a oppenent for the Germans in the new DAK line? myself I would go with the Americans( a little biased of course) but I think First Legion would would do either side justice though, I'm excited just to see another WWII line:)...Sammy

Surprisingly, I would like to see some 8th Army and although its probably down the line would be interested in seeing how they did them pose wise etc.

I'd go with British and Commonwealth as well. Although Americans v. Vichy French would be cool. However, did the 15th and 21st Pz Divs fight American troops in North Africa?

Not to upset my friend Sammy, but I'd love to see what FL would do with the 8th Army^&cool

The 21st fought the US at the Kasserine Pass after which it was split into Kampfgruppen and fought in below division formations. I think the 15th was further east in Tunisia trying to hold off the Brits and don't know how much combat they got vs the US..

I just knew you would pick the Brits Rob:):) just kid'n, like I said any one of those opponents will be great!!...Sammy

British 8th Army - hands down! The Afrika Korps was already on the run by the time the US Forces got there.
Semper Fi!

My vote would be for British and Commonwealth troops. I would love to see some Aussies (Rats of Tobruk)!!! Alby

Sorry Jackaroo for leaving the Aussies off the list earlier, yes some Rats would be cool as well...Sammy

Definitely, British and the Commonwealth. There has been A lack of this pieces in the Hobby.

I would vote to see British and the Commonwealth forces some really cool possibilities there , Lets save the Amis for a future theater of operations :wink2: regard Gebhard

I would agree totally, let's leave the Americans for later campaigns. Besides, the British and Commonwealth forces would seem to be the more iconic choices anyway to represent the Allies in North Africa.

Americans would be risky as we don't seem to be all that knowledgeable or interested in the Tunisia campaign. Figarti's Lee tank is still collecting dust on store shelves & it is a mighty fine piece of work.

I,d prefer to see Brits or commonwealth , I dont collect axis sets and when I think
of the US in WW2 north africa doesnt feature.

I agree with Geb and Noah......Definitely I would prefer British Forces for the DAK line...and Save the American forces for any future Normandy campaigns

I would go for 8th Army as well. A British Sherman tank would be a good subject for FL's armor modelling skills.

It's all good for me, Americans, Commonwealth, bring them on.
