Very cool Alex!

Best regards,
Vick

Thanks my man...I got a few e-mails asking, where we got the back drop. We made it with a building sculpted by Nick, as usual, and used cotton for the fire, which we sprayed the appropriate colors. The fire is brought out by overexposing the picture a bit. We create most of our own stuff, it is rare that we will use a preprepared back drop.

Wow. You really can notice the difference in the clarity from your older camera. This new mega buck camera kicks royal butt. The details are awesome. I would of never guessed that the quality was going to look like this.
Don't just look at this photo, stare at it and you will see the clarity which I'm talking about.
Nick (Alex's partner):D

The Collectors Showcase deals a mighty blow to the Toy Soldier industry, with their animated Figures, which as you can see, play well to the camera and add a distinct realism to the Battle Scene.

Thanks Brian......A picture is worth a thousand words, we can only do so much, the Manufacturers product has to do the rest. I would say your figures and vehicles convey much urgency and realism.....It was a pleasure to do this scene.......Good work. Alex

This is a great picture. The animation of the figures and composition of the shot does indeed look like a mid-action live photo. Nice job! -- lancer

Absolutely awesome pictures. Thanks for posting the shots. I have really been grabbed by the Collectors Showcase items that have recentley been released. I particularly like the Winter versions of their vehicles. I may have to start selling some some much beloved firearms in order to make some purchases. Confound it!!!

You guys are the best at showing the devastion of war.
Mark

War is devastation, and we always need to be reminded of the sacrifices our Veterans have made, as we enjoy our hobby. Although if you look at some of our work, we do like to show non battle scenes also.

We have discussed the value of figures in casual poses, but the Manufacturers know action sells, and CS has excelled in that area.

As Battle Scene makers, we know there is much to be said about the interesting scenes that can be created with figures in casual poses. I would say K&C probably has the most casual poses, but we do not do projects for them, so we can't do as many humorous or casual scenes as we would like, without their support.

We are very pleased with our new fire and explosion effects. It took a lot of trial and effort, and the spray painted cotton, with the film over exposure creates and awesome effect. Alex

This is one of my favorite casual scenes......

Re: BSP First CS Battle scene

We had so much fun with the animated German Crew, we wanted to try them in a different setting......

Nice idea using the jumpers coming out of the building.

Thanks. This is one of my newest bombed out house which is almost finished. When I saw those figures I said to myself that they would look really cool getting out of this building in a hurry as if Ally troops were over running the village . After placing the figures into position, I realized that this action scene had potential to be a winner.:D I'm glad all of you enjoy what Alex and I create for manufacturers and dealers toy soldiers and vehicles.
Regards, Nick

Great work and pictures Nick and Alex. The buildings and action are well animated. John

This was actually a test shot that Nick sent to show me a new building he was working on.......He did an excellent job placing the figures....so I posted the pic....But it was not intended as one of our regular scenes.

I wish Collectors Showcase had a larger inventory of products... we would love to do a storyline of the Bulge or Normandy, with their stuff. I didn't realize how good the animation was, until I studied the pictures we did. Alex
