Pvt. Randolph Fleming of the US Regular Army seen here in the sky blue campaign uniform and dark blue fatigue cap of the era surveys the Mexican landscape from the heights. The Mexican-American War would last two years and the United States would receive half of Mexico's territory as a prize during the era of continental expansion known as "Manifest Destiny". The war was a proving ground for many future military leaders on both sides of the American Civil War. (Figure Britains Bluecoat #43124)

Nice picture Randy. How did you post this size picture? Did you use photo-shop or send it by photo-bucket? I have to keep reducing TF pictures. John

Photoshop-It allows me to size 1000X800 pixels or less for size and save for web at 97kb or less per TF requirements.

I really enjoy all your posts, and marvel at the number of beautiful scenes and mini-dioramas you post. I was wondering how large of a display area do you have devoted to your collection? And, are you constantly rotating figures or is your display area large enough to accomodate such a large collection?

Thanks,
Dick

I'm running out of space. I have a good-sized multi-shelf glass and wood cabinet and 7 "satellite" glass/wood small-size diorama cases. All my 1950s Britains are packed away. The mini-dioramas are all temporary setups with simple photo backdrops and some scenery. The figures all retreat to the display cases after being "shot" or should I say photographed.

Sounds amazing. I haven't gotten any of my collection packed away yet -- but if I want to continue acquring any more sets, I am going to have to make some difficult choices very soon. So far, i really haven't been able to do so.
