Some interesting discussions on this thread. My original question should be changed to, "Suppliers of Napoleonic Accessories - Why don't they supply?"

I know the Napoleonic wars were generally fought on open fields with hordes of men lined up shooting hordes of other men lined up opposite them, either on foot or charging at each other on horse. This is a very different form of combat than that that first appeared in the ACW, but the question is valid. Where are the supply wagons, the village scenes, the add-on Hougonmount Farm complex, carts, civilians, etc. ;) Michael

What a timely post! Mark Vulcannon from Build-a-Rama was just wondering what sorts of Napoleonic accessories collectors would like to see. He has heard some ideas from my customers but he is also a member of the forum so I'm sure he'd appreciate as many suggestions as we can give him. Michael's post is an excellent start.

The above quote from the “Collectors Queen", HRH Shannon (this is no joke, I refer to her as my Queen out of respect), is from another thread where I asked the question, where are the suppliers of Napoleonic Accessories? There is another Queen, whom I respect with equal vigor in this collector’s kingdom of ours, except I cannot remember how to spell her name. Her residence is in the Bay area of San Francisco at Sierra Toy Soldiers. Sorry my Queen for not being able to remember how to spell your majestic name, (I believe it to be a Russian female version of Michael). There are also three kings in this imaginary world of mine, Pete, Mike at Sierra Toy Soldiers, and George at Minute Man. Each of you has my utmost respect and loyalty, should you need to call upon soldiers-at-arms to defend your realms. NO I am not crazy, its just Saturday morning and I have a need to imagine and you are a in a sense my captive audience.

Well anyway Mark, please send some time considering things such as supply wagons, carts, 18th and 19th century scenes for structures like bridges or barns. A series of structures that would add on to the various villages or even the two major farm complexes at Waterloo, Hougoumont and La Haye Sainte. I am certain that others have just as creative ideas, so please my fellow Napoleonic addicts, let us take advantage of this opportunity and let Mark know of your ideas. Michael

I can't quite come up with such a royal start to my post but only a mere peasants post.

(Waterloo, June 18, 1815)

Dear General Build-a-Rama, the French are very strong and are forming on the ridge infront of me. I require reeforcements such as buildings, farms, barns, brick walls with gates such as the north gate at Waterloo. Also Napoleonic tents, wagons, smashed wagons, smashed cannons, destroyed buildings with cannon holes etc. These are all badly needed please send your assistance at once!! I fear we may lose the battle without the assistance of you troops. This message has been sent with my best dispatch rider, I pray that it falls on your ears.

Your Humble Servant
WELLINGTON......;)

The new bombed out building look pretty good. Build-a-rama's prices keep going up, but it looks like the quality keeps getting better. Thanks for the info amd update.

Dead horses would be neat as well, as odd as it sounds..:)

Wellington
may not be very practical..I don't know

Also dead cows for WWII. I hope PETA doesn't check this forum out. :D

Yea, but the cows have to be bloated with their legs sticking staight out. Gary

I guess the horses need to be bloated too.....

WELLINGTON
Common Peter you would stock them...wouldn't you?

I was going to mention dead horses and cows , even troops but thought it might be too morbid. I guess not.
Dead trace animals would be good for Napoleonics or ACW and I suppose WW2 .Bloated not prefered.:(

Hi Guys,

I think this makes my first official post. I appreciate the great feedback.

So let me make sure I get this staight. . .
-Dead Horses (Bloated) and (Non-Bloated)
-Dead chickens (Bloated) and (Non-Bloated)
-Dead Cows (Bloated) and (Non-Bloated)
-Dead Soldiers (Bloated) and (Non-Bloated)
-Body Parts?

I will see what I can do about these morbid items.

I have been bitten by the Napoleonic bug over the last few months which has begun to peek my interest in items for this range. I have very little knowledge of this era and from what I have read on this forum many of you share an extensive knowledge in this area. Your comments and suggestions are welcome, feel free to email any pictures or ideas to
mark@build-a-rama.com . Here is a partial list of what we have planned so far.

- Destroyed Cannon on terrain base
- Brick walls undamaged
- Log structure battle damaged
- Wood/ fortifications.
- Wood fences

Most of our new items will be a 1:30 scale as we have begun a transition to this larger format. We will also be producing a lot more muti-era items.

Thanks again for the input. I hope to be around here a lot more.
