Burn em' out (1 Viewer)

That flame looks the ticket, really captured it. Great scene. Robin.

Thank you! You have no idea how hard it was to make ^&grin

Robo!

Evening Robo,
With the "Grin Face" at the end of the message, I am a bit unsure if that means if was really easy .. (and I would love for you to share it) .. or it was really a bear to build and not for the faint of heart.

Superb setup ... simple yet effective.

Hahaha it was actually pretty complicated and had to do a few test tries before it could be usable for a photo! Basically I used some cotton netting around a bendable metal wire. Primed it black and submerged it in some yellow paint. Once it dried (after a day or so) I finally did the finishing touches using a paint brush!

Thanks for the interest,
Robo!

Nice one like the more drippy kind of fire you have here.
Here's couple of pics, I did a few months ago, just threading some cottons balls onto a piece of copper wire and then spraying with diluted kids paint, first yellow then Orange, Red and a few touches of black.
