that if we build all our fleet of carts to the same specifications like the Romans then it would be easy to deliver to the Romans in their Forts ???

Certainly not one size fits all. Maybe there is a rear door for tradesmen that will accommodate. Like this wagon, but was disappointed in it's light weight. Still a must for all Roman collectors. Robin.

I think the cart is an all resin construction. To me a little on the small side, but obviously too large to go through the JJD Forts gates. The K&C Mile Forts gate it passes with room to spare.

You don't have to dig to far into Roman records to find that payment of taxes could be made in a certain corn (Wheat) measure known as a Modius, and don't think for one moment that, that will always be honest and true.
But if you annoyed the tax farmer, he might arrange for your payment to be made to an outpost at the other side of the province in which you lived, which would obviously be inconvenient, unless you greased the palms of those in charge. Just corruption Roman style.

Ahhh ... but the husband is always right ... at least until the wife finds out.

In this case, however the Romans built the door to small. ...^&grin
