The next figure is an artillery gunner. There are two illustrations and this depicts a French gunner circa 1600.
I think that the original figure had a linstock but this broke off. So I added a brass tubing and gave him a ramrod. I also changed the position of the head and added a feather.
The landsknecht is directly taken from this illustration.
The Spanish musketeer pose is directly taken from the first illustration. However, the details of the slashed jerkin is definitely from this second figure.
Here are the other figs almost completed. Just waiting for some paint to dry here and there and then I gloss them over. Notice that the figures are like caricatures and the details are vague. I am outlining the figures here and there as I think that this style of ptg suits this type of sculpting.
