Hi Guys,

Since we launched our ‘VietnamArtillery with both Aussie Gunners and USMC Artillerymen manning the 105’s we’ve had many requests for some ammo and spent shell casings to add to both sets and the sandbag emplacement.

Well, they’re on their way... hopefully in August. But in the meantime here’s a sneak preview.

Each little pack contains a neat pile of 11 x unfired rounds of 105mm shells PLUS 6 x individual ‘spent’ shell casings.

All the best,
Andy

P.S. Retail Price: US$29 per pack

Very useful accessories to a provide a realistic layout. Come on August. Robin.

Now we can make a 'real looking' fire support base with .....

ammo on the gun platform,

spent carts laying around until the mission is completed ....

BRILLIANT !!!

this is a great addition, these shells also very interesting for WW2 artillery
guy:)

I like this idea. it gives the Artillery battery even more authenticity!
😁👍

This picture may have provided inspiration for Andy to make the ammo ...

We saw this image as a display on the wall at the Vietnam Veterans Museum in Victoria, 12 months ago,
on a visit organised by Howard following Andy's K&C Meet and Greet Dinner.

Note that the spent cartridges are thrown to the right side of the trail, this is so they don't get in the way when loading,
while the projectiles are pointing forwards , so making it easier to load into the breech.
(Technical points that only gunners know) :)

I've done a slight change to get those cart cases out of the way of the No.4

Wouldn't want him to fall over while loading {eek3}{eek3}{eek3}

I couldn't shift the projectiles .... too heavy for me now :) :)

Anyway, as long as they don't have to change their target bearing, the rounds can sty there for while.
