This is an old dio, but I wasn't satisfied of the old photos, so I made new photos, more dramatic, in "Horus style":p, and now it looks like a new dio! I have to say that the KC ww1 figures are exquisite, fantastic in poses, colours....I hope you enjoy).

For those who care, I will do in the next 2 years a Trilogy made of carachters that no main manufacturer did, or did it not in the way I like....I will entirely paint all the figures and do all from A to Z by myself{sm3}. This Trilogy will end my work and my collection..It is : 1) The pirates 2) Mexican bandidos 3) The gladiators.

Very cool Poppo. Nice job capturing the action in your new shots. You've also got a great collection of WWI pieces. Well done.

The early K & C WWI figures (I have them all) of the 13th Bavarian Rifle Regiment are some of the best figures done by K & C, as well as some of my favorites. Nice work and photos. I take it the fifth photo was intentionally blurry. If so, it’s a nice effect. My only quibble — a minor one — is including the 13th Bavarian officer in a 1917 scene as German uniforms had changed between 1914 and 1917.

Excellent diorama Poppo, you can really feel the intentness of the action, like a scene from a film. The fifth photo so dramatic and you just know the officer is going to get hit in the next second !

Very well done ! {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Thank you:salute::, yes, it was intentionally moved to give the sense of moving...And yes,you are right: one officier has an old fashioned helmet not historically suitable with the rest of the soldiers( even if once I saw a photo of a german artillery officer with an old helment and the crew had the new one). But, the german generals kept the old helmet even after the general change.

I totally agree with you with the high quality of the ww1 early figures.

Thank you, Steve:salute::,I learned from you, so I copied your style of photographing to give that dramatic movie effect.:tongue:

Thank you for the clarification. Again, very well done. Hope you are staying well.

Its a remarkable diorama. I agree that the early K&C WWI troops are among my favorites. The 1914 French, with the navy blue tunics and red pants, are my favorite of the lot. There is a diorama Gordon made, with the early war French and a fortress, that is among the best he ever made in my opinion.

Thank you Louis:salute::. I agree with you, the KC WW1 french are great pieces too:I enrolled two of them in the foreign legion and in the french colonial troops:eek:
