Hi,

Just got 18 of these 54mm camel corps no box no markings but cracking figures for £24.00 any idea of the maker. When I saw them on eBay thought they might be early Trophy but not sure if that now?

Thanks

Can't help with the maker. Don't think they are Trophy though although they do look similar.

Hi, Early Trophy had a little Silver Sticker on the base, do you seen any remnants on the ones with bases?

That said, I don't think they are trophy for two reasons - Legs are too fat, early Trophy were very skinny legs and 2. Eyes are different, some are painted like Charles Hall with white then black dot, others are slits. I don't know if they are necessarily homecast either, there was a group who painted Charels Hall castings (several actually) small shops in England and these could be those. It is a mystery I cannot solve, but we can eliminate brands fairly quickly.

Hi Guys,

I have been wondering if Mulberry Miniatures made them. Very similar painting and casting style to my eye but not sure. who ever they are they are great for the price and would help fill gaps in a big glossy display for the sudan.

They look more like the 66th Berkshires at Maiwand, not Camel Corps. The look similar to Trophy but some of the poses do not look familiar to me. I'm thinking Bastion figures.
