Carthaginian War Elephants (1 Viewer)

My completed Flats project, of a War Elephant Platoon of three - if that's the correct term - is shown below. I've also added in the Persian War Chariot of King Darius III (c.331BC) below - with the Elephants in the background. I fancy that these were the "tanks" and maybe "armoured cars" of the Ancient World. Maybe not as effective as weapons of War - as their psychological impact would have been on the large ranks of troops they opposed.

I've painted them in my usual Glossy style ( which I'm told is unusual, nowadays - as matte now appears to be the norm), though that has always been my preferrence - and hope you may enjoy looking at them - as much as I did painting them. jb

Well M, we all like - what we like. Both you and I like - GLOSSY.

Of course, this doesn't make those who don't prefer gloss, right or wrong. Just well, um............... different!!{sm4}

Glad we both like 'em this way. :salute::jb

Beautiful work jb, keep on shinin' on mate 'cause a toy soldier world without gloss would be a very dull world indeed. :wink2:^&grin

B. :salute::
