Hi Guys,

Here is a little vignette of our Polish Cavalry taking on a small column of German vehicles that had come to a temporary halt on a country road...

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy,

Another Inspiring scene without a doubt. Looks like Napoleon1er has a better answer now to his question a few days ago !

Wonderful diorama! I'm glad to see these poor troopers aren't being flung against German tanks. I think these Polish cavalry scultps are some of the most dynamic cavalry poses K&C has ever made.

Don't really have the money but I'm going to scrounge, beg and forage so I can get the officer and flagbearer. Wow , love'em.

Fairly evenly matched in this encounter, but soon they will discover the horse was no match for the battles later in WW11. Great scene of those early days when the horse ruled. Robin.

Maybe sooner considering there's only Four mounted guys with Lances and One with a Sword attacking at least Five guys with repeating rifles and One with a MP :wink2:

Hi Matt,
Never discount the element of surprise as well as the confusion that the attack will have caused...
Anyway, in this particular case, I'm supporting the Poles!
All the best,
Andy.

Hi Andy, very true, the Turks were certainly surprised by mounted Aussies at Beersheba.

Great dio, looking back through my other mounted figures, nap and Medieval Warriors I think K & C horse are great. Which makes me they would look at a German Gulaschkanone Field Kitchen and German military supply. The Germans used a massive amount of horses, especially in transport, would like to see a supply wagon, could be D-day based and a character figure driving [such as an out of shape soldier, let’s say ‘Rotund’] and delivering to a D-Day bunker or even the wagon with figure representing just before the attack in the D-Day attack on Band of Brothers. See below for some other ideas.
