As a collector (for 50+ years) of figures by the 200 year old French maker CBG Mignot I was saddened to hear from another collector that the firm has now radically cut back on its output. Whilst my interest is in French Naploeonic soldiers, the CBG Mignot line-up also comprises figures from all eras from Ancient Egypt to WWI. I am eager to hear any news regarding the fate of this venerable producer, as well as of Lucotte, an associated high-end maker of French First-Empire era soldiers (or, more generally, about members' CBG Mignot collections).
