Rob...

Yes. I am in the process of getting a few. I prefer the CS guards but, the marines are superb also. For me, they are the best figures that K&C have made for many years.

Good choices chaps, Jack thats a good idea, maybe I'll do the two year and pick up another figure.

Rob

Mitch, how many will you get do you think? Once you get past half a dozen the effect will be really good. We could then start asking for a Buckingham Palace facade, can you imagine the space you'd need!!!:wink2:

Rob...

I am thinking Horseguards parade type thing. really depends on if they stay as a CC figure as they won't be around that long (maybe 20 to 50) or, turns into a full blown range. I would sell the LAH collection to build a mass display of these troops they are just that good. Though, I think the wife would have something to say as most of it came from her!!!

I do agree Mitch, superb looking figures. Don't get me wrong, the LAH look really good on parade, but there is something about that red tunic, its in the blood Mitch:wink2: As you say, might want to run it past the missus first!

Rob...

Totally agree I collected guards when I was a kid. Fenwicks in Newcastle had a huge toy store upstairs and, I used to have them bought for me and, spend all my pocket money on them at another shop in Haltwhistle.

I think your right about in the blood I grew up with trooping the colour and love all the pomp and ceremony its why the release of these is the best thing they have done.

I don't have any trouble from the wife about buying what I want at all but, she does not like the idea of any being sold that she has bought.

Sounds good Mitch, that sort of memory stays with you always. That Red tunic fought for the Empire at Waterloo, Rorkes Drift, Trafalgar, Balaclava and so many others, funny because most of the Brits I buy are in Khaki , but just love that tunic^&cool:salute::

Very nice figures Rob and the marines

These are the reason I decided to join up to the collectors club! They are really nice & I'm hopeing we see a few more down the line! Maybe marching or some Highlanders? Mitch & myself talked about a Horseguards type dio to place them in front of when they were 1st mentioned so I hope we see something done along thos lines or as Rob said maybe the Palace :D even if it would be rather big lol

Go on Neil, you know you want to!:wink2: As Mitch said about selling his LAH, if Andy does make a full blown K&C Ceremonial range I too would have to sell something , such a series would be impossible to resist.

Rob

REALLY NICE LOOKING FIGURES.You guys have me thinking about buying a few.Mike b.{eek3}

I hear you if they released a ceremonial series I would not be able to hold out! {eek3} If they do release a series like this I hope they will make a Scots Guards Pipe Band{bravo}}

That would indeed be impressive^&cool

the possibilities for these are endless. All the usual marching and presenting poses and, bands and mounted figures!!!I would like to add that my selling of the LAH collection was a point to show how nice these figures are and, how much I like them. They won't go. Space would be an issue.

I would hate to have those who think I am a nazi enjoying my troops whilst dressed in nazi uniform listening to germanic music in my loft think I am going soft!!!!LOL

For sure though, the englishman in me thinks these are the best figures K&C have done
