Charge of the Light Brigade Photos (1 Viewer)

I know what you mean Michael. I've only been collecting K&C for about a year. Started off with Napoleonics and recently bought my first WWII vehicle. My want list seems to grow longer with each batch of new releases. A monster has been unleashed and I'm not sure how to get it back in the cage, but I'm guessing forum members aren't in a position to advise me on this.

Welcome aboard Stickleback. So your interest is the Crimea? Have you ever read about the actions of the Chasseurs D'Afrique during and after the charge? They made a textbook assault on the Russian guns on one flank of the valley, permitting the survivors of the charge to ecape back to the British lines. Frontline made excellent matt figures of them.
Thanks for the info Louis, I'll have to hunt down some reading material on the action.

I would check out "Queen Victoria's Little Wars" by Byron Farwell. It takes you through all of the conflicts of the era, with an excellent chapter entitled "Crimea: The Light Brigade and All That, 1854-55". Its the best primer on 19th Century British Imperial conflicts I ever came across.

They will be 1/30th in Matt. 1/32nd is only for the Crusaders to complement russians sizes!

Everything Looks Good. The Only Problem Is That I Am Running Out Of Room. I Will Probably Get One Or Two Peices At First To See If I Like Them.
