Here's a couple, not mine unfortunately, and I can't remember who's photos they belong to , so if they are someone's here, I apologise, but for the greater good:

When you went for dinner, and get the figure, did you need to buy a package with dinner included or just kind of show up at the show and go to dinner. I was just wondering for this year.

The logistics of this year's dinner will be different than in previous years. More information will be forthcoming as the final plans are made.
Stay tuned!

PS My Chicago Dinner figure took a 5-foot dive onto a concrete floor and now appears to be much more battleworn than he once did. Although his base now shows a crack, his helmet and ankle have divets, amazingly his weapon remained intact as did the Britain's Civil War figure's who joined him in the spectacular fall along with the glass shelf they had been standing on. The Union figure can now shoot around corners without putting himself in harm's way though .

I had the same thing happen to me with one of my Napoleonic Horsemen - (Thank you again KV for the nice repair paint job ;) ) - what still cracks me up is the the replay of the long 5 foot fall that goes through my head everytime I think about " the incident " - it always comes back in slow motion ... " Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! BOOM ! CLANK ! Cry........... :p

I thought the dent in his helmet actually looked cooler than the original. The chunk out of his ankle now showing bare metal...not so much :p.

Ah people.........theres no dropping the toy soldiers!

Rule #1 All toy soldier areas must be carpeted.

Rule #2 No dropping the toy soldiers.

Rule #3 If you should slip and fall while carrying toy soldiers you must

use body to protect toy soldier.

Rule #4 Always have someone handy (wife in most cases......Peter in

Shannon's Case) to blame if any of above rules are broken!

I did a swap for this Digger with a mate that makes his own figures. I think the camel is drinking the wrong stuff as he has taken them both on several tumbles from the shelf to my tiled floor.

But I reckon he has gained some character through his trips ;)

It certainly is a nice figure, I would like to see more FJ in this style of camo.

I have the Del Prado 'Jager' Airborne troops Germany, 1945, which is one of the better figures in that range. He sometimes sneaks into my A/Korps display.
