For this years show, we will be bringing a couple of new items, three for the Civil War enthusiasts and one for the WWII enthusiasts.

Death Production have made 4 different dead Union, 4 different dead Confederates and 2 different dead Zouaves. Size has been increased so that theses now nicely match Italeri, Imex and Accurate and are molded in their respective colors, and are generally a much fuller figure than their earlier sets.

Each come packed with 2 different in a bag, but I will only have 10 of each with me (making a total of 50 sets), so don't delay in getting to my room as these are sure to be snapped up quickly.

We are pleased to be debuting a new WWII set of figures (not by Death Productions), which to my knowledge has never been covered before, I cannot give any more info, but have the figures in my hands right now and will be trying to pack in as many as I can. However, space as always, is very limited.
It is very doubtful if anyone else will have these at Chicago.

Looking forward to seeing all the usual suspects - Mike Kutnick, Ed, Jimmy, Nick and DeAnna, Gene and Teri to name but a few.

A WWII subject that has never been covered before in 1:32?!
NOW you have my attention??????????
SUPER EXCITING!!!!!!

What scale are the WW2 figures? Are they U.S., British, German, Japanese, ect.?

The great thing about WWII, is that there is so much that has still never been done and greatest WWII subjects are still waiting to be produced!
I'm going to limit myself to 5 guesses and I challenge anyone else out there to 5 also!?
These are my 5 predictions!

1) GERMAN WINTER INF. in Winter White Camo.

2) VOLKSTRUM

3) BRITISH (Canadian) INF. in MK III Helmets

4) ROMANIAN INF.

5) POLISH INF.

Any of these have never been addressed, so lets see if I hit it right?!
Steve, please feel free to tell me if I'm wrong. Gotta know!!!!!

Hi

ok 5 guesses:

1) Finnish Troops 1940 (winter war fighting the Soviets)

2) Dutch Troops Western front 1939-1940

3) Belgian Troops Western front 1939-1940

4) Norweigan troops 1939-1940

5) Yugoslav Partisans in the Balkans

Probably all wrong but worth a guess - any others?

Dave

1/32, as for what they are, check the net a day or so before the show, you may see photos!

other than that, come along and see first hand.

Well what ever they are lets hope they're not as big as the Expeditionary Force figures eh LOL I want 1939 Poles or 1940 Dutch.

Wouldn't that be nice - enough with the Germans and Americans, already! We seem to forget just how many Countries were drawn into WWII and are completely ignored in the Toy Soldier world. However, realistically speaking, financially others would not sell anywhere near the volume that Germans sell in, therefore are unattractive in that sense.

Yes, but some combatants did some of their important fighting in other peoples' uniforms. The Free Poles in the West were equipped like British troops, The Free French basically wore US uniforms, plus there were Polish units fighting with the Red Army that wore Russian gear. The Brazilians used a lot of US gear. Everybody tried to add their own character, but there wouldn't be a lot of market to tool up plastic toy soldiers for them.

Here's a wild guess for the "mystery set"; US black GIs or Nisei GIs. Never addressed before that's for sure!

Doing Germans is OK as long as you don't do whats been done 30 times before!

German Inf. in Winter Parkas (A. Front)

German MT. Troops wearing wind-breakers

Hitler Youth

Volkstrum

Germ Winter Camo.

Germ Para Troops ( Monty Casino)

For WW2 how about a Battle of the Bulge Set ( winter garb ) or North African set ( Germans and Italians throw in some native North Africans ? ) ? Personally I think a Battle of the Pyramids French under Napoleon versus Mameluks could be cool !

For the life of me what's the big secret. Steve says he has them in hand. They are not some Conte promise or some start up individual who has all these wild yet unrealistic goals. Someone explain the thinking here?
Gary

Very intriguing for us all........

Would be nice if they are Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Corporal Jones etc.....Dads Army to British forum members... The British Home Guard.

wishful thinking of course

ENOUGH with the Germans and Americans already!

Well the 1/72 Companies put out some esoteric subjects that seem to sell alright so I think a subject such as say WW2 Finns in 54MM if given a chance would sell. They are a subject that always seems to show up on various Forums/websites as a "Wanted" set.Look at the reception the CTS North Koreans seem to be getting so like you said"Enough with the Germans and Americans already"LOL.

Hey, Nisei G.I.'s WOULD be something different that has not been done before. I don't have anything against any of the figures from other nations being made. I hope they get made for those that want them. Remember though, they have to sell for whoever makes them. Unless the one who makes them is able to just get a small number of sets done to supply the number of collectors who would buy the figures. Then, he runs the risk of being stuck with 2000 plus sets that he will lose money on. I am like everyone else, I want the figure makers to make the figures I would want, and buy the figures I want. No use in me spending my hard earned money on figures I will never play with. I do hope that everyone gets what they want.

Whats with a the secrecy anyway?!
That's just BAD MARKETING!
He should be telling everyone what he's going to release to build up the hype and deter others from releasing the same thing.
He should also be teasing us every week with a new pose photo up until the actual release!
