I was wondering what the outcome of the official unofficial Contest at Chicago was. I know I was most impressed with the Figarti Tiger but I am sure there are different opinions. Just curious what everyone else's thoughts were.

Just wanted to add that everyone who provided pictures and updates did a great job. Thanks.

Stunned and shocked ... awed ... the Figarti Tiger I with complete interior with the top of the turret and hull removable ... each track a separate piece held to the next piece by two pins like the real thing. Mostly metal, so it weighs over 4.5 pounds, with over 950 pieces!!! This is just looking at vehicles, not the figures.:)

Also the other innovated concept is the whole tank crew inside the tank. Not even the 1/35 scale people do that.

My guess based on the silence (and it is just a flat out guess) is that Andy may have expressed reluctance to participate. Anyway my favorite 1/30 vehicle this year is the Honour Bound Winter Panther. Nothing else was close in my opinion. Figarti is a different scale and from what I have seen (which does not include the unreleased Tiger), the smaller size and choice of vehicles produced so far results in a lackluster display piece - albeit nicely made.

Imo and just based on the pics I have seen.

In 1/32 scale, I'd choose the Figarti Tiger with interior, with a special mention for their Japanese Artillery set (the gun and figures look terrific). But if I had my pick of the show I'd grab their Pegasus Bridge :)

In 1/30, it would be the Honour Bound Bergpanzer, then their Winter Panther.
