Hi Guys,

I thought I would throw on some pictures of the XXL beach mats we did for the Figarti Lunch. These were taken at our shop prior to shipping to the chicago show. Each mat was 30" x 72", made to fit 6ft tables.

We would have loved to make it to the show and see all of our old friends and meet some new ones. We are sure there in spirit.

Rob

Here are some shots of the Mark's mats being used during the preping stage at the Figarti Lunch. These were exceedingly simple to use, required little imagination and were very effective.

Great job Mark!

The mats were outstanding. Btw, the obstacles were made by Figarti, all metal, and verrrrrry nice.

Brad,do you know if Figarti will be selling these obstacles?.

Rob

Rob,

As far as I know, yes. Hopefully Clive will have the ship at the next London show. It has to be seen to be believed. I took some shots and will post them tomorrow. I am on my way home now :(

Rob - I made most of the obstacles that were displayed on the mats at the lunch. The Hedgehog terrain we already produce as a standard product. The Asparagus (Mine posts) and the large logs are to be released real soon.

Thanks

Hi Carlos,

Thanks very much for posting the great pictures of the "hit the beaches" mats.

A real must for all amphibious ops.

Best Regards, Raymond.:)

They come in small sets with 2 engineer figures. Rick said the hedgehogs were not available individually but they are all metal and really excellent. In the bottom centre of the photo you can see 3 of the engineers working on the obstacles.

I think the smaller hedgehogs with sand piled under them are from Buil-a-rama and the larger ones with no sand underneath are the all metal Figarti ones that come with an engineer or two. I wasn't clear on what was in the set.

Mark,

I bought one of the three LCT's at the Show. I have a diorama platform 69 inches long by 44 inches wide, and I would like to purchase a custom beach mat for the space. Could you either PM me or post a quote?

Thanks!

Louis

You might want to specify where you want the water on the mat and how much of the mat is to be covered with water.

Terry

I just e-mailed Mat a confirmation that I wanted the new large production Beach mats for my diorama platform. Hopefully I will be able to show off quite a nice display of the LCT and the new Figarti Normandy vehicles and figure sets for the Symposium.

I paid for the beach mat today, and Mark e-mailed me that I would definitely have it in time for the Symposium.:)
