I really love the progress and frankly the recovery Richard Walker and Ken Osen has accomplished in making the Britains respected and sought after once again. They are truly producing some great stuff.

Keep up the great work guys and I look forward in seeing some more WWII stuff in the future. Here are some of the new stuff (I think) being displayed at the show.

Thanks for taking the photos and posting them...I was so busy I forgot to take any myself! It was great to get away from the bench here and see many of you again. It was also nice to hear feedback from both the dealers and the collectors on the new products created since 1st Gear bought W. Britain. Richard Walker and the rest of us have been pretty busy these past 2 years redesigning everything from the ground up. Many of the requests for new subjects were for items already in developement, and some of the others that were mentioned we will consider soon. Look for some of these new figures, equipment and structures in the upcoming November flyer and the next quarterly catalog.
Thanks again! Ken Osen

I hope one of those future stuctures is a shed to go with the peaked wall side of the Hougomont gate. As of right now the free standing peaked wall doesn't make a lot of sense by itself and I won't be buying the Gates if theres not a building planned for that side.:(

Hi Carlos and Dragoon,

Thanks for taking the great photos Carlos and for the chance to catch up and chat in the room.

Ken and I are working on plans for Hougoumont phase II, you should not be disappointed Dragoon.

Appreciate all of the positive feedback at the show, the many new ideas and words of support - it has been a good year at Britains thanks to all of you.

Best Regards,

Richard

That's great to hear Richard, Love the figures and really wanted to get buildings that go with them. Sounds like we will be getting a very dramatic and accurate Battle at the Gates. :) Thanks.

I too am impressed with the variety and quality. Very excited about the new Waterloo figures and scenics as well as ACW and AWI.Somehow time got away from me and I never even made it to the Britians room to catch up with Ken and Richard. Big mistake ! But again, I did see the displays in the main hallway Sunday morning. Mentioned to Minuteman that I need a couple battlaions of the upcoming French Light infantry. He just laughed as he knows my passion for huge formations.:)Troops in Campaign dress at last!
Great items.Looking forward to them.

Carlos!!! Great Pic's Man!! You are the "MAN". It is really great to get good images on the Forum ASAP. It helps feed the hungery for more info on our hobby!
We both know how great these looked in person up close in the Britains Room.
Thanks again!

I got a chance to talk to Ken and Richard. They are a very enthusiatic group of guys. They really enjoy what they are doing, and it shows in their product.

Wow...the Napoleonics Are Excellent!!!!! This Is Where K&c Is Failing In The Variety And Action Shots!!

Wellington

Great Job!!

Thanks so much! This coming year will have many new poses and subjects to continue building this range. There will be additional Flank Company British Guardsman in addition to some new units and support troops on both sides...Ken
